CVE-2019-25615Public exploit

Local code execution via SEH chain overwrite

Published Mar 22, 2026 · Updated Mar 22, 2026

An SEH buffer overflow in Lavavo Software Lavavo CD Ripper 4.20 allows local users to execute code via the License Activation Name field. Processing an overlong name writes beyond a stack buffer and overwrites the NSEH and SEH pointers, redirecting execution to attacker-controlled payload data. Local users require access to the activation dialog; successful exploitation runs with the application's privileges, and the published exploit opens a bind shell on TCP port 3110.
