Authenticated file read via decoded traversal path
Published Mar 22, 2026 · Updated Mar 22, 2026
Path traversal in NetNumber Titan Master 7.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files through the drp endpoint. The endpoint decodes its path parameter and accepts embedded ../ sequences without confining the resolved trace-file path, so a crafted value selects files outside the intended directory. Low-privileged access is sufficient, and the elevated web server context exposes sensitive files such as /etc/shadow; no write or service-interruption impact is reported.
