Published Mar 22, 2026 · Updated Mar 22, 2026
Privilege escalation in Enter Srl Iperius Backup 6.1.0 allows local users to execute programs as Local System or Administrator. Writable backup-job configuration lets an unprivileged account select a pre- or post-backup program that the privileged service launches without impersonating the job creator. Exploitation requires a local low-privilege account and an Iperius Backup Service running under Local System or an administrator account.
