Stack-based buffer overflow in LabF Axessh 4.2 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through an oversized log filename. The logging settings copy an excessively long log file name into a fixed-size stack buffer, allowing data beyond offset 214 to overwrite the instruction pointer. Access to the Windows client UI is required to enable session logging and submit the crafted value; successful exploitation runs shellcode with the application's system privileges.
