Buffer overflow in Fast AVI MPEG Joiner 1.2.0812 allows local users to crash the application through an oversized License Name. The registration dialog accepts 6,000 bytes in the License Name field and processes the unchecked value when Register is clicked, causing an out-of-bounds write. Exploitation requires interactive access to paste the payload and click Register; the documented consequence is an application crash only.
