Password disclosure via forgot-password console logging
Published Mar 22, 2026 · Updated Mar 22, 2026
Insecure logging in EquityPandit 1.0 allows attackers with Android Debug Bridge access to read plaintext account passwords. The forgot password function writes the requested account's password to the Android developer console, where adb logcat returns it without protection. Exploitation requires ADB access to the affected Android device and execution of the password-recovery flow, after which the captured credentials expose the account.
