Out-of-bounds write in HeidiSQL Portable 10.1.0.5464 allows local users to crash the application through its password field. Published evidence identifies the password input as the affected locus but does not disclose the responsible copy operation or function. Reaching the flaw requires local access to paste a 2,000-character string into the Microsoft SQL Server credential prompt and select Login; the demonstrated consequence is an application crash only.
