Application crash via oversized Open URL input
Published Mar 22, 2026 · Updated Mar 22, 2026
Denial of service in COWON Systems jetAudio 8.1.7.20702 Basic allows local users to crash the application via oversized URL input. The Open URL dialog passes a 5,000-character value after the URL scheme without an effective length bound, and the handler terminates abnormally. Local interactive access to the Windows application is required; the demonstrated consequence is a repeatable process crash without reported data impact.
