Local application crash via oversized Storage-Path value
Published Mar 22, 2026 · Updated Mar 22, 2026
Denial of service in BulletProof FTP Server 2019.0.0.50 allows local users to crash the application through its Storage-Path setting. With Override Storage-Path enabled, the Advanced settings workflow accepts a string of at least 500 bytes and crashes when saving the configuration. Access to the local configuration interface is required, and the demonstrated consequence is interruption of the FTP server application.
