CVE-2019-25586Public exploit

Application crash via oversized torrent URL

Published Mar 22, 2026 · Updated Mar 22, 2026

Denial of service in Deluge 1.3.15 allows local users to crash the application by submitting an oversized torrent URL. The Add Torrent dialog accepts a 5,000-character string in its From URL field and processes it without a safe length limit, terminating the client. The published proof of concept requires local GUI access to paste the generated string and confirm the dialog, and the reported consequence is interruption of that client instance.
