CVE-2019-25568Public exploit

SYSTEM code execution via replaceable service binary

Published Mar 21, 2026 · Updated Mar 21, 2026

Local privilege escalation in Microvirt MEmu Play 6.0.7 allows local users to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges. The installation grants ordinary users full control over MemuService.exe, allowing them to replace the auto-start service binary with a malicious executable. Exploitation requires low-privilege local access and a system reboot, after which MEmuSVC launches the substituted binary as LocalSystem.
