Buffer overflow in Magic ISO Maker 5.5 build 281 allows local users to crash the application through an oversized registration serial code. The Serial Code field accepts a 5,000-byte string without enforcing the destination buffer bounds, causing an out-of-bounds write. Exploitation requires local access to the Windows GUI and submission through Register, and the demonstrated consequence is an application crash only.
