CVE-2019-25550Public exploit

Application crash via oversized password-field input

Published Mar 21, 2026 · Updated Mar 21, 2026

Out-of-bounds write in VeryPDF Encrypt PDF 2.3 allows local users to crash the application through oversized password-field input. The Settings dialog accepts a 1,000-byte string in either password field and processes it during PDF import without enforcing the destination buffer's bounds. Access to the Windows GUI is required, and exploitation terminates the affected process without reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
