Application crash via oversized search-field input
Published Mar 21, 2026 · Updated Mar 21, 2026
Denial of service in BlueStacks 4.80.0.1060 allows local attackers to crash the application through oversized search-field input. The search operation processes a pasted buffer of 100,000 characters without an effective input-length constraint and terminates the application. Exploitation requires local access to the BlueStacks interface and interrupts only the application process, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
