Authentication bypass via password parameter SQL injection
Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026
SQL injection in FreeSMS 2.1.2 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication through the password parameter on the login endpoint. The login handler at /pages/crc_handler.php?method=login places the password value into an SQL predicate without neutralizing injected syntax, enabling a boolean-true result. No credentials are required, but a target username must be known; successful exploitation creates an authenticated session and permits that user's password to be changed.
