Authenticated database disclosure via symbol SQL injection
Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026
SQL injection in Bdtask Tradebox 5.4 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the symbol POST parameter. The monthly_deposit endpoint incorporates symbol into database queries without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling boolean-, time-, error-, and UNION-based injection. A valid user session and CSRF token are required; successful requests expose database contents and alter query behavior without reported service interruption.
