Browser script execution via reflected job type
Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026
Reflected cross-site scripting in Niteosoft Simplejobscript 1.66 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted jobs URL. The jobs response reflects the job_type_value[] GET parameter into HTML without neutralizing quote-breaking SVG markup and its event handler. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted URL; successful execution can expose browser-accessible session data or perform actions in the victim's session.
