Unauthenticated database read and write via job_id injection
Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026
SQL injection in Niteosoft Simplejobscript 1.66 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data via a crafted POST request. The get_job_applications_ajax.php endpoint incorporates the job_id POST parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax. No authentication is required; a boolean-based payload alters query logic, exposing database contents and permitting database changes.
