Application crash via oversized registration input

Out-of-bounds write in WinMPG iPod Convert 3.0 allows local users to crash the application through oversized registration input. The Register dialog copies a 6,000-character string from the User Name and User Code field beyond its intended buffer. A local user must open the dialog, paste the crafted text, and confirm it; the demonstrated consequence is an application crash, not code execution.
