CVE-2019-25478Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Application crash via oversized HTTP status line

Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026

Buffer overflow in GetGo Download Manager 6.2.2.3300 allows remote attackers to crash the application through an oversized HTTP response status line. The HTTP response parser accepts a 6,000-byte reason phrase from an attacker-controlled server without enforcing a safe length, causing an out-of-bounds write. The application must connect to the attacker-controlled HTTP server; the demonstrated result is an application crash, not code execution.
