CVE-2019-25471Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote code execution via unchecked ZIP extraction

Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026

Arbitrary file upload in File Thingie 2.5.7 allows remote attackers to execute commands by uploading and extracting a crafted ZIP archive. The ft2.php upload action accepts a ZIP because only its outer extension is checked, and the unzip action extracts embedded PHP files without reapplying the file-type blacklist. Reachability requires uploads and file actions, an executable web directory, and either an authenticated session or disabled login protection.
