CVE-2019-25470Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Password disclosure via wsdReadForm authentication bypass

Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026

Authentication bypass in HMS Networks Ewon Firmware 12.2 through 13.0 allows remote attackers to retrieve every user's password. The wsdReadForm endpoint accepts Basic authentication containing a valid username and an empty password, then honors a crafted wsdList that requests every user record. The named account must have View IO and Change Configuration rights; disclosed passwords are recoverable with the firmware's fixed XOR key.
