Application crash via oversized serial-number submission

Buffer overflow in NewSoftwares Folder Lock 7.7.9 allows local users to crash the application through its serial-number form. The Serial Number and Registration Key field submits a 6,000-byte string without enforcing the destination buffer bounds, causing an out-of-bounds write. The attack requires local access to the Windows GUI and manual submission of the oversized value; the demonstrated consequence is an application crash.
