Credential disclosure via unauthenticated CGI access
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Path traversal in HiSilicon HiIpcam V100R003 allows remote attackers to read ADSL credentials via an exposed CGI endpoint. The camera web service exposes a browsable /cgi-bin/ directory and serves getadslattr.cgi without authentication, returning stored usernames, passwords, and DNS settings. Network access to the camera web service is sufficient; the demonstrated consequence is read-only disclosure of network configuration data.
