Database manipulation via unprotected state-changing GET requests
Published Feb 20, 2026 · Updated Feb 20, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in phpMoAdmin 1.1.5 allows remote attackers to execute database operations via crafted GET requests. moadmin.php dispatches the action, db, and collection query parameters directly to state-changing handlers such as dropDb and dropCollection without a request-specific anti-CSRF token. An authenticated administrator must submit the attacker's request; resulting operations can create, repair, or delete databases and collections with that user's MongoDB privileges.
