Authenticated action forgery via missing token validation
Published Feb 20, 2026 · Updated Feb 20, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in OrientDB 3.0.17 Community Edition allows remote attackers to modify databases through crafted Studio requests. The /database/, /command/, and /document/ handlers accept state-changing requests carrying a victim's session or Basic credentials without validating an anti-CSRF token. An authenticated user must visit attacker-controlled content; resulting requests can create or delete databases, alter schemas, manage users, or create functions.
