Authentication bypass in Sricam DeviceViewer 3.12.0.1 allows attackers to set a new password without supplying the old one. The change-password handler accepts a 5,000-character old-password value and proceeds instead of rejecting the credential mismatch. Access to a registered account and interaction with the Windows application are required; the published procedure demonstrates changing the logged-in account credential.
