Browser script execution via unescaped OpenVPN user parameters
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Reflected XSS in Comodo Dome Firewall 2.7.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in users' browsers via crafted POST requests. The openvpn_users endpoint reflects the username, remotenets, explicitroutes, static_ip, custom_dns, and custom_domain parameters without neutralizing script markup. Exploitation requires a user to render the resulting response, where the script can read or modify data available to that browser session.
