Browser script execution via unencoded dnsmasq parameters
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Reflected XSS in Comodo Dome Firewall 2.7.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's browser via crafted POST data. The dnsmasq endpoint returns TRANSPARENT_SOURCE_BYPASS or TRANSPARENT_DESTINATION_BYPASS input without neutralizing script markup. Exploitation requires a user to render the crafted response and permits script actions within that user's browser context.
