Browser script execution via unsanitized MACADDRESSES input
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Reflected XSS in Comodo Dome Firewall 2.7.0 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in users' browsers through crafted POST requests. The hotspot_permanent_users handler reflects the MACADDRESSES parameter into its response without neutralizing JavaScript payloads. Successful exploitation requires a user to process the crafted response and grants script execution in the firewall management origin, enabling browser-session data access or actions available to that user.
