Browser script execution via unsanitized backup recipient
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Reflected XSS in Comodo Dome Firewall 2.7.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in users' browsers through a crafted POST request. The backupschedule handler reflects the BACKUP_RCPTTO field into its response without neutralizing script markup. Execution requires a user to process the crafted response, exposing data and actions available to that browser session.
