CVE-2019-25400Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated browser script execution via reflected POST parameters

Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026

Reflected XSS in IPFire 2.21 Core Update 127 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through fwhosts.cgi POST data. The CGI handler returns unsanitized values from HOSTNAME, IP, SUBNET, remark, service-group, and related request fields into an HTML response. Exploitation requires authenticated web-interface access and another authenticated user’s interaction; the resulting script runs in the interface’s browser origin.
