Reflected XSS in Smoothwall Express 3.1 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's browser through hosts.cgi POST requests. The hosts.cgi script reflects unvalidated IP, HOSTNAME, or COMMENT values into its response without output encoding. Exploitation requires a user to render the crafted response, and the resulting script runs in the web management interface's browser context.
