Browser script execution via reflected IPsec parameter
Published Feb 15, 2026 · Updated Feb 15, 2026
Reflected XSS in OPNsense 19.1 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through an IPsec settings POST request. vpn_ipsec_settings.php returns the passthrough_networks array value to the response without neutralizing an injected HTML element and its event handler. A victim must interact with the crafted request; successful execution runs in the web interface origin and can read or alter data accessible to that browser session.
