Client-side script execution via unencoded admin parameters
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
Cross-site scripting in the MP-4200 TH admin page allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in authenticated users' browsers. The /en/conf_admin.html handler processes script markup supplied in the admin and person POST parameters without safely encoding it for page output. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to load the affected configuration content, bounding the consequence to code execution in that browser context.
