Application crash via oversized M3U playlist buffer

Denial of service in XMedia Recode 3.4.8.6 allows attackers to crash the application by opening a crafted .m3u playlist. The playlist parser accepts an oversized buffer from the file without applying a documented size limit, causing the process to terminate. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious playlist, and the documented consequence is an application crash without reported data disclosure or modification.
