CVE-2019-25342Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated CPU exhaustion via concurrent database exports

Published Feb 12, 2026 · Updated Feb 12, 2026

Resource exhaustion in Centova Cast 3.2.12 allows remote authenticated users to drive CPU usage to 100% through concurrent database exports. The /api.php system.database handler accepts repeated export actions targeting /dev/zero and runs them concurrently without effective resource limits or throttling. A reseller or administrator credential is required by the public proof of concept, and exploitation saturates processor capacity rather than reading or altering data.
