CVE-2019-25338Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Account enumeration via divergent password-reset errors

Published Feb 12, 2026 · Updated Feb 12, 2026

Username enumeration in DokuWiki 2018-04-22b allows remote attackers to identify valid accounts through password-reset requests. The doku.php do=resendpwd flow returns a distinct user-not-found error for unknown names, while valid names proceed to mail handling and expose different errors. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the bounded impact is disclosure of which submitted usernames correspond to accounts.
