Use of hard-coded credentials in Heatmiser Netmonitor 3.03 allows remote attackers to obtain administrative access over HTTP. The unauthenticated networkSetup.htm response exposes the fixed admin username and password in hidFrm hidden input fields. Devices reachable locally, or through configured Internet port forwarding, permit login to an interface containing thermostat status and heating controls.
