User-assisted code execution via Custom Command overflow
Published Feb 12, 2026 · Updated Feb 12, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in InternetSoft FTP Navigator 8.03 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through the Custom Command textbox. The textbox accepts an oversized payload that overflows the stack and overwrites the nSEH and SEH control records. Exploitation requires a user to paste the crafted text and activate Do it; successful execution runs with that user's application privileges.
