Stored XSS via unescaped logpath persistence
Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026
Stored XSS in anttiviljami WP Server Log Viewer 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts through crafted log paths. The new-log handler only trims the GET logpath value, appends it unchanged to the server_logs option, and later renders it without escaping. Low-privileged access to add a log file and a WordPress administrator viewing the saved entry are required; injected script runs in the administrator's browser context.
