Admin-level stored XSS via unneutralized settings
Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026
Stored XSS in Yoast Duplicate Post 3.2.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through plugin settings. The plugin stores title prefix, title suffix, menu-order increment, and blacklist values without neutralizing script markup before rendering them in administrative pages. Administrator-level access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; exploitation runs attacker-controlled script in an administrative browser.
