Administrative account creation via CSRF
Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Flexera FlexNet Publisher 11.12.1 allows remote attackers to create local administrative accounts. The lmadmin user-creation handler accepts a cross-origin HTML form submission without validating an anti-CSRF token and creates an account with predefined credentials. An authenticated lmadmin user must submit the crafted form; the resulting account gains administrative access to the licensing server interface.
