LocalSystem code execution via unquoted service path
Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026
Unquoted service path handling in Snapview GmbH Mikogo 5.2.2.150317 allows local users to execute code with LocalSystem privileges. The Mikogo-Service configuration leaves its whitespace-containing Windows executable path unquoted, causing service startup to search earlier path segments for an attacker-placed executable. Exploitation requires local low-privilege access and permission to place that file in a searched location; successful execution grants LocalSystem control.
