CVE-2019-25279Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Credential disclosure via cleartext SQLite storage

Published Jan 7, 2026 · Updated Jan 7, 2026

Cleartext password storage in FaceSentry Access Control System 5.7.0, 5.7.2, and 6.4.8 allows attackers to read web credentials. The appliance writes web-front-end usernames and passwords without encryption to the TWebUser table in /faceGuard/database/FaceSentryWeb.sqlite. No additional authentication is required once the database is reachable, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of reusable web-administration credentials.
