Stored XSS via unsanitized group descriptions
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Stored XSS in BigProf Software Online Inventory Manager 3.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via group descriptions. The administrative group editor stores the description field without neutralizing HTML event handlers, and the groups page renders that value into the browser. Group-management access is required to plant the payload; execution occurs when another user views the groups page, enabling cookie access and page-context actions.
