Authenticated arbitrary file read via unsanitized ID

Path traversal in VideoFlow Digital Video Protection DVP 2.10 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary system files via ID parameters. The downloadsys.pl and related Perl download scripts append the unsanitized ID value to a fixed file directory and open the resulting path without rejecting traversal sequences. A valid web session is required, and successful exploitation discloses file contents, including operating-system account data, without changing or interrupting the appliance.
