Administrative account creation via unvalidated cross-origin POST
Published Dec 24, 2025 · Updated Dec 24, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in KYOCERA Net Admin 3.4.0906 allows remote attackers to create administrative users through a victim's session. The /fwk-web/jsp/addUser.faces endpoint accepts a cross-origin POST containing attacker-chosen credentials and an administrator role without validating request origin or an anti-CSRF token. Exploitation requires a logged-in user to visit attacker-controlled content, after which the new account provides administrative access.
