Administrator password change via unvalidated cross-origin request
Published Dec 24, 2025 · Updated Dec 24, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Teradek VidiU Pro 2.4.10, 3.0.2, and 3.0.3 allows remote attackers to change the administrator password. The management interface accepts a cross-origin password-change HTTP request without a validity check that binds the request to the administrator's session. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to visit an attacker-controlled web page, after which the attacker-selected password takes effect.
