Privilege escalation in Ross Video DashBoard 8.5.1 allows local users to replace DashBoard.exe through writable file permissions. The installed executable inherits Modify or Change rights for the Authenticated Users group, permitting replacement with an attacker-chosen binary. Exploitation requires a local authenticated account and a more-privileged user or process to launch the replaced program.
